About The CUTomorrow Conference 2018

September 09 - 11, 2018

CUToday.info is proud to announce The CU Tomorrow Conference 2018. The event promises to be an old-fashioned—but never more relevant—credit unions-helping-credit unions gathering in which peer group leaders share what has made them successful and is driving their growth. No golf tournament. No TED Talks (unless the speaker is named Ted). No high-priced keynoters with 30,000-foot-views. Just on-the-ground, practical and pragmatic strategies for serving members and helping to ensure the credit union’s future. And all at a low-cost designed to ensure as many CU leaders can attend as possible.

ABOUT AUSTIN

The CUTomorrow Meeting will have a compact but full agenda, but when there is free time the capital city of Austin offers vibrant cultural activities, legendary live music, and a burgeoning and diverse restaurant scene. (And there are two-dozen credit unions that call Austin home—although they’re not really known for their live music.)

Register Now

This is not a sales spiel: As a first-time event, attendance will be limited. Make sure you don’t miss out on this collaborative meeting among credit unions for whom a merger is not strategic option number-one. Sign up now and make sure you’re guaranteed a place at this unique event.  Thanks to the generosity of the sponsoring companies, above, CUToday.info has endeavored to keep the registration price as low so as many CUs as possible can attend.

CUToday.info’s Frank J. Diekmann explains what the CU Tomorrow Conference is all about and how it came to be in this Welcome Message.

Participation Nation

DUBLIN, Ohio—One credit union believes loan participation programs are the best way to address the issue of small credit unions struggling with loan portfolio growth.
Ohio HealthCare Federal Credit Union has embarked on a new loan participation partnership with two other Ohio healthcare credit unions. The arrangement is beneficial to all involved, said OHCFCU CEO Bill Butler.

An Idea (Contest) Worth Emulating

NEEDHAM, Mass.—One credit union has introduced an annual “idea contest” it says is not only generating more actionable suggestions from staff, but also making employees better strategic thinkers.
Direct FCU in June held its first DirectTank, a new yearly competition among employees to submit ideas to leadership.
